Passed By Iora Today

Got myself something to wear under my blazer at work

I love free flowing skirts.

I'm going to wear this with jeans
I would have loved this more
if it was one size smaller.

Cam-Whoring with Shu Eumura

"Presenting, my CAMERA. Bow."

Forgive my shamelessness.

I wasn't able to include
Johnson's Baby Oil in the photo
which I applied to my hair because it was so unruly!

BRACE YOURSELF!
You're going to get sick with countless
self-portraits!

Oh my, what manly hands I have!

Enlarged for maximum motion-sickness effect!

Syempre, naka-pamewang pa!  ABER!

Can you spot the difference???
I CAN'T.
Must be the same picture. LOL!

SMILE! Even though your heart is aching!
Well, this smile is hurting my jaw instead of my heart!

This was the after party... before I got into the shower and off to bed.

Sick yet? LOL!

Thank God, it's over!

Nail-A-Holics

I usually go somewhere else for my bi-monthly pedicures.  Yesterday, I opted to have my toenails cleaned at Nail-A-Holics for the first time.  It's more expensive than where I usually go but the difference is not that much.

I am satisfied with the service.  However, their complimentary foot massage could be much better than what I had yesterday.  I couldn't help notice that the massage was shorter in duration than what I was used to.  I could have appreciated it more yesterday since we were doing a lot of walking and standing still.

There were times when I have to silently cringe in pain too :(
But afterwards, the pedicurist did a satisfying job.

In addition, the color theme of their nail parlor is really nice.
I want the color combination in my room ^_^

Skin Food's Seaweed Waterproof Eyeliner

Sounds malansa? LOL!  I know but this shade is really good on me.  It's my favorite so far (since this is my first ever eyeliner).

But I need HELP!
I don't know how to lengthen the tip.
It's not supposed to be sharpened.
Does anyone out there know what I should do?
They don't have it in Skin Food stores in Megamall.
They have another kind. :(((

My Vintage Clinique Travel Kit

I have begun using this just recently but it's already catching dust in my shelves.  But I'm so glad I decided to use it before it entirely goes to waste.  The shades of the blush, eyeshadow and lipstick are just right for my skin tone.

Nichido's Travel Brush Set

Passed by Watson's today and I was looking for a lip brush.  And so I quickly scanned the shelves and found this.  I asked about the quality and of course, the sales lady has nothing bad to say about it.  I was quite satisfied with her verbal guarantee.

I bought the set before running off to the exit of the mall to go home today.

The brushes are really smooth to the touch.
Made of nylon.
And according to the saleslady, it was going to hold the bristles for a long time.

Can't wait to try the eyeshadow brush.
And the lip brush.
And they eyebrow brush.

It's pretty cheap in comparison to the others I've seen
which were of the same quality.
It's quite small though ^_^

Let's Face It: Whole Body Massage

Because I had to wait for a long time in SM Hypermarket....

If I want this review to be helpful to people, I will have to tell the truth.

The massage was not good in comparison to the home service we get from Spaholic.
The one doing the massage was pretty abrupt whenever she changes the person body part position.
It wasn't as relaxing as you would have expected.

Plus, the room was too cold.
They didn't have the warm oil that you are used to.
The cream they applied was a bit cool and that was another no-no.
It was supposed to be warm to touch.

The upside was that it was a bit cheaper than the Spaholic services.
And the room is quite pretty.

Never again ^_^
I'll just stick to their pedicures.

Inner Beauty at Wellness Center Medical City

No, I'm not referring to the character of the person.  Instead, I'm addressing my visceral organs LOL!

I took the Lady Care Package from the Wellness Center of The Medical City.  This is the first of the regular annual check-ups my family is going to have.  I was first in line among my siblings because they were still too busy to take this kind of almost a whole day work-up.

I did some blood chem, X-ray and ultrasound of the abdomen and breast, mammogram (ouchie!), treadmill stress test (which was really hard for someone like me who don't use the treadmill at home), 2D Echo, eye consult, pap smear and ultrasound of the uterus and ovaries, dermatologist consultation and lastly a visit to their spa where I got a good back massage.

You get to pay less if you avail the package.  And you get to have really good service from the staff.

The waiting area of the patient.

Since you have to fast the night before of your appointment,
they don't forget to serve breakfast in their veranda.

The View: Ortigas Skyline (well, you can't really see all of them.)

You get to choose your breakfast.
I chose the roast beef sandwich.

So far, the initial results were all good.
But I'm still waiting for the final results.

Done for the day!
